I'm really annoyed at internet right now.

First it'll tell me that my net's not connected, then about a minute later, tell me that my connection's strength is excellent.

This doesn't just happen every once in a while. Oh no. This sometimes happens several times within half an hour or so. >_< Irritating as hell!




Didn't realize how appropriate my icon was for the post until after I started writing it (picked icon before starting the post). Nice.

Man, I hate being bored. -___- It's bad when you don't know, exactly, what you want to do.

Could do Face Book games, but I've been playing waaaaay too much on there. XD;;; Not a LOT of games, mind, just ones that I could go on and on and on with.

Think I'll try watching Lupin III on Sky 7 Anime for a while. Used to watch that on tv allll the time when Cartoon Network had it.

Oh, yeah, and at some point, I should probably upload my new icons. XDDD Keep forgetting about that...

I've decided to grace y'all with pictures.

Now, I when I was getting pics (no scanning ability at this time--at least, not without ruining the spine), I was going for ones I knew, for sure, I wanted to make icons from. I probably should have gotten drunk!Kenmochi, but oh well.

So, yes, quality might not be the best, but at least I'm able to share them. =D

I got my doujinshi this morning!! *happy happy*

Even though it's mainly all about Kenmochi, Akechi, and Takato, Kindaichi did make a few appearances himself. ♥♥

I like the way he was drawn, too. =3 I'm totally going to have to either scan or take pictures and make icons. *lol* There's this one shot of Kenmochi with a sorta O_O;;; or O_o;;; face and one where he kinda does a Scream impression but he's 'swirling' down smaller. I know that probably doesn't make sense, but it's a little hard to explain without pictures. But, yeah, that'll probably be an icon too, if I can manage it. -_- Just has to be on the binding edge.

If/when the seller I bought it from gets new Kindaichi doujinshi in, I'll totally have to make another purchase. XD ♥

I'm thinking about joining Facebook again... just so I can play the games on it. XD;;;

Yeah, it's a bit of a stupid reason to want to join, but... if I had known about the games sooner, I wouldn't have deleted my account. =X Trufax. I know it's because I was so used to Live Journal, first, that when I had Facebook, I kept wanting to be on it a lot, but there wasn't a lot to do (that I knew of at the time), so it got boring pretty quickly.

But now that I know there ARE games and stuff to do, it makes it interesting again and it's tempting. I just don't want to have to either post the same stuff on there as I do on Twitter or whatever nor do I want to unintentionally ignore/forget about it.

On the other hand, there's more things to do on Facebook than on Twitter...

Where the hell is my writing bug when I need it?!

Well, tonight would have been cleaning night, but they got a call about the Nissan Cube that they had been interested in (on our way to the first office) and the dealership wanted/needed them to go down because the bank was waiting and had questions and stuff. So we get down there and after negotiations and such, they come to an agreement about the car so Mom and I had to go clean out the XB. By this time, Mom was needed back inside to sign paperwork, so I had to stand out with the stuff... in the cold. Man, I was freezing.

But after all that, the salesman they were talking to had to follow us home for some extra paperwork and the title. Because of that, there was really no point for me to go back out to the offices after he left, so I stayed home. I'll just be going with them Friday.

Hopefully Rachel'll sleep in their bed tonight, since after they finish cleaning, they'll have to go straight to the lab. That way, the dogs'll be in with her and I can sleep in in the morning. =D I would LOVE that! And Rachel would get her 'own' room and it'd just work out really well. *crosses fingers* One can hope.

I finally got my dream fic finished tonight! It's a big ball of stupid, but dreams usually are, so I think it fits. I've also already put it on fictionpress and insane journal, so that's all squared away.

Next item up for workage: Shannie fic! Or the Ronin one. I'm not too sure, actually.

Either way, I'll be needing to do an event list for them. I know the Ronin fic already sorta has one, but I surpassed that and it kinda took a life of its own. Only problem... I introduced an element that probably shouldn't be there in the first place and now it kinda features. So if/when I do the listing for it, I'll need to start from where I left off and see about planning out this element more. Maybe then I can get inspired enough to keep writing on it and finish the damn thing.

Juuust finished copy/pasting all but, I think, one of my fics over to my Insane Journal (I didn't bother doing Ghetto Planet since I didn't write it all myself). I had started last night, deleting all but two previous entries, which took a while. Then I started c/ping my fanfic.

Thankfully, one was already on there, so that saved me a little bit of time. The part that took the longest was all the editing I had to do. X_x I'm sure I missed spots that were supposed to be italized, but oh well. Maybe I'll deal with it later.

While doing this, though, I realized just how lame most of my fanfics were. The three script fics, I think, were the worst offenders. Maybe Treize Production Company: Sleeping Beauty and Frederella more than Gundam Warriors, but still. Actually TPC:SB is probably more horrible and lame than Frederella. Out of Characterness, ahoy! I wrote it back in 01, though, which... doesn't excuse it at all, but whatever.

I think the only ones I actually really like are my Kindaichi ones (some more than others) and my latest Ronin Warriors fic (which still needs ch. 9, but might just be discontinued for good stupid muses/writing mood/inspiration.)

Also got ALL my original stuff that I hadn't deleted off fictionpress for being stupid. So, no Wings of Love. *snaps fingers* That one probably would never have gotten finished, anyway. ^_^;

Oh and along the same theme... Just need to write this down before I forget completely:

Mer creatures fic:

*Set in high school
*Everyone's in the same club (possibly supernatural)
*Everyone has supernatural powers (relating to what creature they are)
*Probably disconnected episode type chapters
-->*Maybe one could be about how one of them joined

*They should use their powers for something. Not sure what, though

Hm... that's all I can really thing about for that one right now. Also should kick myself in the ass to get on with the dream fic I've got in the works. I really should finish writing that.

You know... I just thought of something.

I think it would be great if some of the older anime shows (like Gundam Wing, Ronin Warriors, Voltron, Kindaichi Case Files) got revamped and then re-aired. Maybe not so much a plot revamp, but graphics could probably benefit from it quite a bit.

Not that I have major problems with the graphics on any of those shows, but c'mon, it was the 80s.

Or at least try making it like how Advent Children was; computer graphics that, at first glance, make you think the characters are real people! How awesome would those shows LOOK if they were done like that??

Hang on, relishing the awesomeness ~_~

*ahem* Yeah, so, doing old anime shows in an updated style would be great. One could even (if possible) take the soundtracks from the original shows and use that with the updated graphics. That way, we'd have the same voices we're used to. Although, in Kindaichi's case, they'd have to dub everything, since it never got dubbed for us. ;_;

Pfft, with my luck, they'd give all my favorite characters voices I wouldn't care for. On the other hand, though, at least it would be dubbed. I'd definitely be thankful for that.

But yes, let's update and bring back certain older anime shows so we can get some new fans up in here!

So, in light of the Kindaichi doujinshi I'm getting, I wanted to look through my Ronin Warriors ones that I have, again.

Well... first I had to get the box I keep my doujinshi in (mostly Prince of Tennis and a couple Gundam Wing ones in there) and once I got that, I found that the one I was thinking of... wasn't in there. So I went back to try and find the white mailer it came to me in and could. not. find it. After a while, I decided to look in my doujinshi box (Rachel decoupaged it for me =D Ronin pics!) and... it was the very last one in there. _-_ I guess I forgot I took it out of the mailer and put it in there.

Then I remembered about the Poe Backs I had gotten from ebay a while back; Four volumes of what amounts to the same anthology 'series'. I could not for the life of me remember where I put them. I was looking in every box of mine that I thought they might be in. No dice. Then, I went back to the box of manga I have. >.> They were in there, on the very bottom. _-_ Oh well, at least I found them.

When I went out there one of the first times, I noticed that Dad had taken some dvds and manga and put them on one of these cd/dvd racks. Fine, really, except.... The ones he put on there were mostly yaoi ones! DDDD= Even my Boku no Sexual Harassment dvd made it on there!

I plan on at least switching some of those around when they're out tonight.

You heard me, I'm finally getting a Kindaichi doujinshi!!

According to the seller, the pairings are Kenmochi (tall guy on the right)xAkechi (tall guy with glasses on the left)and Takato (not pictured)xAkechi. The other guy on the cover (for those who don't know) is Kindaichi. I would have liked for him to be featured in a pairing preferably with Saki and/or Miyuki, but as there really isn't a lot of doujin for this show that is easily found, I am taking what I can get.

I'm also hoping, though, that he and Saki/Miyuki at least have SOME appearances in it.

Dunno yet when it'll be shipping or how long it'll take to get here, but I am SO looking forward to it!

but whatever. You get it now.

6:14 pm: Man, I wish I had a a game on my phone so the drive to the office wouldn't be so boring. alas, my phone didn't come with any. *sadface*

6:37 pm: First office down. it was empty AND I got a free chocolate chip cookie! on our way to the second office now.

7:17 pm: Score! a free slap bracelet from the trash! I'm wearing it now =D

7:33 pm: Now i'm just waiting until we leave for the third place. I think, there, we only have to clean two bathrooms.

8:32 pm: Woo, bathrooms done! one more office to go, now. then we'll stop for gas & get a soda on our way home.

9:02 pm: Yay, time to head home!

9:18 pm: Mmm, hershey's special dark and dr pepper sure do hit the spot right now.

9:40 pm: The car in front of us has his high beams on. way to blind people, man.

I got home probably around just before 10 (I remember that, since Whose Line was on and it wasn't quite over yet). Some of those times don't necessarily relfect the exact times things happened. For instance, I found the bracelet maybe around 20 minutes before I wrote about it. I also actually didn't drink the soda then. XD;; I put it in the fridge for today.

Made 20$ that night, which isn't bad for 3 hours of work! =D Next week it'll be the same, too. ♥

Oh, that reminds me, I need to be writing these things down. Well, dates, times and earnings, that is. Don't necessarily need to, but it's a good idea, anyway.

Finally! I have a loaner tower now! =DDD It's a Dell~ I've never worked with a Dell before. It'll be nice to be using something that's NOT Compaq for once. Or HP, even. Of course, I have to install Firefox again and try finding my bookmarks again, but that's okay.

The guy I'm borrowing the tower from is going to try and fix mine. It's probably the motherboard, but whatever.

Mom said that maybe if the netbook thing doesn't go through, we might try buying the tower from this guy. If it comes to that, hopefully it won't be too bad of a price. I'm thinking 50$, but it'll probably be closer to 100$. Alas.

BUT, for the time being, I have my own computer again. Yay!

Back to setting up Firefox again~~

You know something is good when, in response to a post about your dog farting, a member called fart_bot approves the fart.

Well, I went and joined Twitter. Hopefully I'll remember to keep updating that. On the other hand, I just followed Josh Gates (Destination Truth), and Jason, Grant, Steve, and Tango (Ghost Hunters). =DD Yay! AND I set it up so I can post from my phone. This will make being on my phone while waiting at Wendy's or whatever. ^^ Of course, that means I need to remember to post when I'm in that situation, but that's okay, I'm sure I will... sometimes.

Went to the mall with Rachel this afternoon. Ended up going into the bookstore. Learned that that Borders Express and the one in Temecula are closing. D= The poor clerk who checked me out told us that it was a double whammy for her, since she got laid off from her other job on Monday. The poor lady! I hope she's able to find another job soon.

Bought the debut book, Tempest Rising, by Nicole Peeler. It sounds good! Has a vampire named Ryu. XD Need to read it before Rachel does. *lol*

I kinda sorta want to start writing something again. Dunno if it'd be the last fanfic I was working on or if it'd be an orig fic or what.

Irritating, though, that if I choose the original fic route, the people I'd want to write about are insanely hard to find plot for. >_< Hate that.

Right, so, all I remember, really, is that I was in a house that wasn't mine and I had somehow gotten (either download/install or an install disk. it's never really shown or implied) this new operating system for my desktop. After it comes up to the main desktop, Dad is standing there next to me and I show it to him. It's dark brown and darkish, muted blue colored and it has a bunch of little steaming coffee cups all over it. I tell Dad that the OS is called 'Java'. I bring up this one program, not sure if it was a word processing one or not, and show him that when I minimize it to the taskbar, the little icon for it is a deep red high heel shoe. I know I was really happy about the OS, but that's all I can remember.

<.< I just know that this sooooo has to do with my wanting a new OS in addition to needing a new computer.

All I remember is that:

*possibly Rachel, Jasa and I were in a Halloween haunted house attraction or something. You had to go through all these rooms. The first(?) one was kinda just a normal room and you had to get past Mother. I think she popped up/out or something. There were two other characters you had to get by in there, too, but I don't remember who.

*there was a room with cute animals like bunnies and kittens and baby chicks... but they were all decked out scary Halloween like. There were also 'pets' like kinda cutesyfied jack o lanterns and such. The person I was with (I THINK it was Jasa) was looking at a chick, I think, and I was looking at maybe one of the jack o lanterns. Then we moved on.

*I think I got to mix up this nasty looking stuff with like some kind of clear molasses-y stuff and a darker rotted-y type red stuff. After I put them both in a cup, I pour it out onto the floor and while it's still...runny, I knead the two together until I can form it into this meat thing that I THINK was supposed to be a thigh or a pec or something. I was mixing it for this one character who I can't remember that well.

*Had to clean out a closet for some reason (moving, I think). Mom was helping and we were going through all these baby clothes. I don't really remember too much about this part.

*Mom, Dad, and I were driving down this road, away from a lake, and I spot this guy that I knew (nooo idea who he was in real life--just some random dude). So I lean out the window a bit to talk to him, but Dad didn't like him or something and told me not to. I tell him I had to go and we continued on our way.

*Back to the haunted house thing. It's a 'cast party' of sorts and I'm mingling with all the characters. I think I was talking to the guy I was mixing stuff for and other characters were coming up saying that they didn't get to scare me. There was one guy with a BIG, more grey than brown, cigar that blows stuff out at people as they pass.

*Jasa and I are going through the haunted house thing again and I make it past Mother, but Jasa doesn't. I'm back mixing that stuff for that one guy again and as I'm doing so, Jasa is going past this one effect where a jack o lantern (plastic, I think), has been programmed to say stuff and blow candies at people. This pumpkin is saying stuff like 'candy randy/randy candy' repeatedly and quickly. I make it out the door and Jasa is a little bit behind. I help her out by opening the door again so that she could escape.
